The Sound of Julie is America’s first-ever national touring show dedicated to the music of beloved icon Julie Andrews.
Created to celebrate Dame Julie Andrews’ 90th birthday, The Sound of Julie stars British vocalist Hayley Renee, known for her angelic sound and girl-next-door charm.
The Show
Vocalist Hayley Renee takes audiences through the biggest songs from Julie Andrews’ most iconic roles: Mary Poppins (film), The Sound of Music (film), My Fair Lady (Broadway), Thoroughly Modern Millie (film), and more.
Favorites include hits like “Do-Re-Mi”; “My Favorite Things”; “Climb Every Mountain”; “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”; “A Spoonful of Sugar”; “Chim Chim Cher-ee”; “I Could Have Danced All Night”; “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly”; to name just a few.
The show then explores the music and influence of Julie Andrews’ friends and contemporaries, from stars like Judy Garland, Dick Van Dyke, Carol Burnett, Barbra Streisand, and more—with hits like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Somewhere” (from West Side Story), and more.
